Eagle Beach
Eagle Beach has been called the best beach in the Caribbean so many times that the accolade almost feels routine — but standing on its white sand with turquoise water stretching to the horizon, you understand why it keeps winning. The beach is wide, uncrowded, and astonishingly photogenic.
The famous fofoti trees at the south end of Eagle Beach are one of Aruba's most iconic images: wind-bent divi-divi trees leaning dramatically against the trade winds, silhouetted against the ocean. They make the best photography backdrop on the island, particularly at golden hour.
Loggerhead and leatherback sea turtles nest on Eagle Beach from April through October. The Aruba Nature Alliance monitors nests and offers guided nighttime turtle watches during nesting season — one of the most memorable experiences the island has to offer.
