Palm Beach
Palm Beach is Aruba's busiest and most amenity-rich beach, running roughly two miles along the northwest coast. The water is calm, shallow, and brilliantly clear — ideal for swimming and beginner snorkeling — and the beach itself is wide enough to absorb the crowds without ever feeling packed.
Water sports operators are stationed at regular intervals along the shore, offering jet ski rentals, parasailing, banana boat rides, and guided snorkel trips. Numerous beach bars and restaurants are located directly on the sand or just steps away, making it easy to spend an entire day without leaving the beach.
Palm Beach glows at sunset: the west-facing orientation means you get full-sky color from about 6:30 to 7 PM every evening, and the strip of bars along the shore fills up with happy-hour crowds and live music. It is the most social beach on the island and the natural gathering point for visitors.
